Repurposed Logs Create Incredible Fence at Oregon’s Longview Ranch

Located along Central Oregon’s historic Route 19 in Kimberly, Longview Ranch maintains 30,000 stunning acres of diverse landscape, including many acres of Lodgepole pine trees.

Recently, Longview Ranch made a beautiful fence the old fashioned way, utilizing logs from Lodgepole pine trees that had either overpopulated an area or were infiltrated by beetles. While Longview Ranch had the ease of modern technology, like a skid steer and chain saw, the ranch was thrilled to make the fence out of this gorgeous wood instead of chain link or barbed wire.

It is Longview Ranch’s hope that this incredible, repurposed fence is appreciated for many decades to come.
